What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Administrative Assistant position at SPS Consulting?
SPS Consulting seeks enthusiastic and organized Executive Administrative Associate II to support our government customer in the Montgomery County area. Positions provide advanced senior level II executive administrative support to elected officials, managers, and department directors for a major program or specialized function within the County.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day pricing entries into our WMS(Oracle). Knowledge of how pricing works is a huge plus but can be taught. Retail knowledge is a plus. This also includes working within Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics systems on a daily basis(previous knowledge of each is a big bonus, but not required).
- Working within excel to track pricing and compare pricing data from other markets/retailers, form templates for loading into our WMS/POS systems. Using existing spreadsheets to compile pricing recommendations and sale lists for team review.
- Ordering supplies for our stores, gathering said supply orders for our courier, and tracking said orders will be a key responsibility, as well as keeping the supply room organized. No real experience with doing this is necessary.
- Using our image platform to upload images for our front facing web portal. No experience here required.
- Email communication here is constant, and proper email etiquette is a must.
- Ability to be comfortable taking on or assisting my team or the division chief with impromptu tasks.
- Ability to work extremely well in a team-driven environment.
- Attention to detail is a very big deal, especially when dealing with pricing, as small errors can greatly affect our stores. Double checking work is paramount (measure twice, cut once philosophy).
Requirements:
- High School diploma and 3-5 years of extensive administrative experience is required
- Executive level secretarial and/or senior administrative support experience is required
- A resourceful and independent worker capable of self-managing their time and tasks
- Possess a friendly and courteous demeanor and is able to work with witnesses and customers
- Excel knowledge of some functions and formulae are required (vlookup, rounding, pivot tables, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs (rarely, if ever, will be anything that heavy)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
