Auto-CAD Position

Role: Develop/maintain drawings and specifications for security equipment, controls, and processes by using computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment. Must possess prior experience with Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering design practices.

Requires: 2D and 3D design planes, basic mathematical skills, knowledge of CAD software and support equipment. Possess organizational and communication skills, be goal oriented, self-starter, team player. Project a professional image and commitment to customer satisfaction:

• AA Degree (AAS) Degree in Design/Drafting or 3 years in 2D & 3D CAD Software
• Familiarity or experience using AutoCAD 2024 or later, Solidworks, etc.
• Background in Graphics Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio etc.)
• Able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
• Work Schedule - 8-5 M-F. May include evening and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Create, modify and revise system designs.
• Design detailed specifications for components using computer aided design S/W.
• Coordinate w/others design, layout, components/systems to resolve issues.
• Review specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas.
• Track, control and organize drawings w/versioning and part numbering system.
• Compliance w/system design documentation and some technical writing.
• Able to complete tasks on schedule and interface with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.30 - $28.06 per hour
