Our dynamic and successful Structures Group is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer. This position would be based in our Minneapolis, MN office. As a Structural Engineer, you would be responsible for the design and/or management of structural engineering projects for public infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare structural design calculations and perform analyses on projects of varying complexity using hand calculations, analysis software, and other accepted methods.
- Prepare plans and specifications for construction projects that comply with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform construction administration with periodic field inspections.
- Assisting with generating required engineering reports, performing quantity estimates, detailing, and drafting.
- Bridge inspections and load ratings with some travel possible.
- Ensure SRF's quality procedures are maintained for all work.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum B.S. in civil engineering with a structural emphasis; master's degree in structural engineering is a plus
- Minimum of two years of experience in a related field.
- EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
Salary: $83,500 - $120,000
Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
