A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Technician
Salary: $29/hour (depending on experience)
Location: Wichita, KS 67209
Industry: Aviation
Shifts: Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:00pm; additional shifts available
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid FAA Airframe license required. Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ general aircraft experience is required.
- 1 year of experience on corporate aircraft is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
- MUST own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.
- Possess basic PC skills
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Work directly with clients to help them find solutions.
