Hiring Range: Minimum $ 66,711.00 to Mid $ 83,389.00 annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling and cross-selling Credit Union services to current and potential members.
  • Possesses an advanced knowledge of branch operations and can serve in all aspects of the Member Experience Environment to include coverage to Virtual Experience and Contact Center, when applicable.
  • Fully complies with all SRP Credit Union policies, procedures, guidelines, and service standards, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC Policies.
  • Applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving to meet the needs of members and

team members.

  • Responsible for achieving organizational goals.
  • Responsible for referring, selling, and cross-selling Credit Union products and services.
  • Provides proactive service and sales leadership to all team members, motivating them to effectively uncover members’ needs and offer product benefits that improve the members’ financial life.
  • Ability to influence others and foster team member engagement.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and a focus on member service.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Champion a member-centric approach, facilitating the delivery of outstanding service and addressing member inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Implement initiatives that enhance member engagement and retention, promoting the credit union's products and services.
  • Regularly travel to various branch and department locations to provide on-site support, conduct staff training, and assist with special projects and events.
  • Must be available and flexible with travel schedules to accommodate team needs and organizational priorities within SRP branches in Georgia and South Carolina.
  • Mentor and coach team members, encouraging professional growth and ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and develop individualized plans to enhance team capabilities in the absence of a manager
  • Support and supervise other traveling team members
  • Represent the credit union in community events and local partnerships, promoting its mission and values.
  • Collaborate with local organizations to enhance the credit union's visibility and community impact.
  • Relies on their extensive financial services experience and judgment to ensure congruence across the board. Provides frequent coaching and sales leadership to the team and promotes a positive image of the Credit Union inside and outside the workplace.
  • Performance to ensure the achievement of the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Rely on previous experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and supervise other employees with little or no direct supervision from a manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

Directly supervises employees in a branch in the absence of the branch manager, community events, or department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Computer Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Word software. Skilled with Symitar Episys Core Banking software, Loans PQ, or similar financial services software systems experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.  Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, touch or feel and reach with hands and arms.  Frequently required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance.  Frequently required to lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to twenty-five pounds. Regularly required to listen and interpret information received through spoken words and sentences in person and by the phone and accessed via the computer.  Regularly required to communicate information and ideas so others will understand both in person, on the phone, and via the computer. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
