What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powershell Developer/Engineer position at SS Talent?
We are looking for a Senior Powershell Engineer to support the Security / Engineer teams by deploying applications that enable the users to work more efficiently and deliver the highest service levels to their customers. The selected Engineer will help design and implement technology infrastructure within the Banks environment and help develop client and internal facing applications. Please keep in mind that this is a Windows Engineer role specializing in Automation around Powershell. An essential skill for this role is Powershell. An ideal candidate will be an Engineer at heart with the skills and experience in building scripts from scratch within Powershell to ensure Secret / credential management Is up to part.
Windows / Powershell responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for engineering, deploying virtualized windows environment supporting web servers, database servers, domain controllers, etc.,
Writing the service code, so architects can deploy it securely with maximum automation and design how to best keep the lights on.
Understanding cryptography and PKI, especially as it pertains to TLS / SSL. A Hue portion is being responsible for designing and maintaining security infrastructure and continuously driving the organization toward better standards
Vaulting Management responsibilities
Helping guide the technical approach and architecture of Vault
Work with development teams on integration with CyberArk vault, including multiple CPMs, PVWAs, and as-built documentation as needed
Review, update, and install the features and best practices of CyberArk, working to create a secure, sustainable, and highly automated environment that meets UMG's
Automate processes across the CyberArk products as agreed
Monitor CyberArk and support any break / fix, upgrades, patches, and performance or integration related issues.
Create automated periodic reports as required and addressing any discrepancies found.
Maintain responsibility for privilege user incident management support, user acceptance testing of privilege accounts, load testing, performance testing, and validation testing of the CyberArk solution.
Maintain & support CyberArk daily from a tier 2 standpoint, troubleshooting Vault, CPM, PTA, PSM, and PVWA issues as required
Resolution of tier 2 trouble tickets, including password rotations, password malfunctions, account creations, account changes, scheduling.
Installation of CyberArk vault including multiple CPMs, PVWAs, and as-built documentation as needed
Must-Have
Knowledge with PowerShell, Windows 10 (with full understanding of security measures, with expertise in WIM imaging)
Must be proficient with Designing, developing, and deploying windows servers hosted in a virtualized environment.
Proficiency with supporting and developing deployment packages in PowerShell
Experience with Enterprise Backup Solutions such as Commvault to create and manage processes for reliable backup, restoration, and archiving (Important)
Guide the technical approach and architecture of Vault
Maintain & support CyberArk daily from a tier 2 standpoint, troubleshooting Vault, CPM, PTA, PSM, and PVWA issues as required
MS PowerShell (primary) and C# (secondary) development experience is required.
Must have experience in configuring, securing, and locking down Microsoft Windows OS systems.
Must have experience creating custom MS Windows OS WIM images.
Must have experience creating customized bootable Microsoft Windows boot images. Should have experience working in a lab environment.
