Resident Associate St. Anne Home is a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America dedicated to the continued healing mission of Jesus Christ by providing a continuum of care and supportive services to adults, their families and their caregivers. Starting rates are based on experience ranging from $16.30- $19.30 Available : Part Time mix shift of 1st and 3rd, or Casual for 1st shift (definitions at end)

10 : 30p- 7a, shift differential $0.60
All hours on Saturday and Sunday are paid an additional $0.60 an hour! Saturday and Sunday 3rd shift totals an additional $1.20 an hour!

What you’ll do :
Interact with residents and have access to resident property; can work with and provide care and services to difficult people and maintain composure during stressful circumstances
Activities of daily living (ADL) : Provides assistance with dressing and undressing (clothing should be clean and appropriate for the season), bathing, personal hygiene (shaving, dental hygiene, nail care, hair care, foot care), mobility devices (cane, walkers, wheelchair, crutches) including monitoring for safe transfer and ambulation techniques, and care of assistive devices (such as glasses, contacts, hearing aids).
Medication assistance (if qualified) in the absence of a Medication Resident Care Coordinator. The RA assists with self-administration of medications including the monitoring of medication supplies and documentation.
Health Maintenance and monitoring tasks : observing and reporting changes in resident’s physical condition and cognitive / emotional status to the RCC as needed. Conducts room checks and resident rounds, reports incidents, errors, or accidents to the RCC.
Dining- escort to the dining room, taking resident orders, serving meals, busing tables, clean and set tables).
Be aware of special diets (puree, thickened liquids, and mechanical soft) and food allergens for each of the residents.
Supporting and encouraging residents to attend the activities programs.
Housekeeping responsibilities include : dusting, vacuuming, moping, spot cleaning flooring, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, cleaning the washer and dryers, empty lint traps, check for marks on wall and other maintenance issues and report them in the appropriate manner, use safe techniques for using cleaning chemicals, keep resident laundry and linens clean and odor free (wet soiled laundry is to be washed immediately).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Criminal background check current within one year
Engages in physical activities that involve lifting, caring, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, balancing, bending, and kneeling in a changing environment.
Desired Skills / Abilities
Prefer one year of experience in personal care or long-term care facility.
Medication training certification.
First aid and CPR Certified (§2600.63b) (if not will be trained in facility)

Casual employee : You tell us your availability. Not eligible for benefits. Required to work 2 weekend shifts per month AND 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday.
