St. Bernard Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as the Central Supply Clerk!
Summary: The Central Supply Clerk orders, stocks, inventories, and administers the distribution of resident care nursing supplies in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory and stock supplies maintained at nurses' station in supply points; distribute appropriate supplies.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Order oxygen, tubing, and route supplies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of sterile items.
- Monitor supply levels and reorder as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, and be able to follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
