St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is looking for a part-time custodian for the church.
Working hours would be Sunday-Tuesday from 6am-noon.
Primary Function:
To keep all areas of the assigned facilities clean and presentable. To work with other Maintenance personnel to complete jobs larger that need more attention or outside assistance.

Qualifications:
Must be physically able to lift up to 25lbs, bend, stoop, climb and reach. Some commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to keep all areas of the facilities orderly and clean in the allotted time. Must be self-motivated with attention to detail and ability to operate and maintain minor equipment used in cleaning facility. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Areas of Responsibility:
- Clean all floors in assigned areas.
- Clean all bathrooms in assigned areas.
- Clean all windows and door glass as necessary.
- Dust and clean all surfaces in assigned areas.
- Check and maintain appropriate levels of supplies in bathrooms and other areas.
- Help set-up parish events as needed.
- Tidy Custodial supply area daily.
- Open and secure doors as needed for safety.
Other Specific Responsibilities may include:
- Spot check areas after events.
- Check all plant areas, keep free of debris.
- Empty all trash cans in assigned areas.
- Refill holy water basins and clean with white vinegar as needed.
- Launder rags and mop heads at least 3 times per week.
- Clean all brass with proper cleaner, i.e. candles holders, etc. as needed or as directed by supervisor.
- Change candles as directed by supervisor.
- School duties as directed by supervisor.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
