Job Responsibilities | This full-time 12-month, non-tenured faculty position will collaborate with the Clinical Placement Manager and Graduate Program Chair to support all aspects of clinical placements. The clinical placement specialist will play a key role in developing, building, and maintaining clinical partnerships with graduate clinical sites and preceptors. The placement specialist will work closely with all Program Coordinators to ensure appropriate and timely clinical placements and compliance. Duties and Responsibilities

Education / Experience | Master's degree in Nursing (APRN preferred), nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner, who maintains current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and has a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience. Experience: A minimum of two years of APRN direct care clinical experience, prior clinical placement experience encouraged. |
Competencies / Skills | The APRN Clinical Placement Specialist must possess the following skills and attributes: management and leadership skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong clinical and professional skills; Must be proficient in computer usage, Microsoft Office suite, Zoom, and Google platforms. Must be able to work independently and autonomously. Demonstrated ability and interest in contributing to the growth of the WSON and University in developing community relations. |
