Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Conduct custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Utilize buffing equipment for floor care
- Assist with commercial cleaning activities as needed
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance issues
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas and restrooms
- Assist with residential painting tasks when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or related roles
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing
- Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Previous experience as a porter is a plus
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and bending
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
