We are seeking a dedicated and talented Part Time Church Organist to join our congregation. Responsibilities
- Play the organ during weekly worship services and special events.
- Collaborate with the pastor and choir director to select appropriate hymns and musical pieces that align with the liturgical calendar.
- Provide musical accompaniment for choir rehearsals and performances as needed.
- Maintain the organ in good working condition, reporting any issues to church leadership promptly.
- Engage with the congregation through music, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as an organist or pianist, preferably within a church setting.
- Familiarity with various musical styles, including traditional hymns and contemporary worship music.
