Position Summary:
The Application Analyst is responsible for providing support to end users for the various EHR system access requests required to perform their job. They will possess strong technical and analytical skills and utilize these skills daily to resolve or assist in the resolution of software issues. The incumbent will have daily interaction with end users and will provide the highest level of customer service to both the end users and other IT staff.
Primary (Essential) Duties:
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external user community
- User Support of Meditech, and other software programs used within the organization
- Troubleshoot various problems with user access and terminations and bring issues to resolution
- Review assigned tickets in the ticket tracking system and take appropriate action to resolve issues
- Utilize stored information and documentation to help resolve issues
- Prioritize and escalate problems as necessary
- Create, manage, and terminate accounts for IS application EHR systems
- Triage tickets to appropriate groups if needed
- Provide regular on-call duties as scheduled

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the field of computer science, or related field
- 2-4 years equivalent work experience in managing and maintaining hospital EMR systems
- Excellent software troubleshooting experience
- Extensive application support experience with all Microsoft products
- Microsoft Certified Professional or A certification preferred
