What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extended Day Staff position at St. Joseph School?
St.Joseph Catholic School located in Herndon, VA is looking for extended day staff.
This would be a great opportunity for any one who enjoys working with children and is looking for a part-time employment.
This position is Monday-Friday ( when school is open )from 6:45am -8:00 am and/or 3:00pm - 6:00pm with flexibility.
Requirements:
- Supervise children during playtime indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety
- Assist with preparing snack
- Communicate with director/caregivers about daily activities and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Participate in staff meetings and required training
Qualifications:
- A love for children
- Patience and flexibility
- CPR and First Aid training ( or willing to obtain)
- Clear TB screening
- Background check along with attending a required seminar, Virtus (www.virtus.com)
