Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support daily financial operations, assist with financial reporting, accounts payable, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and providing administrative support to the finance department.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and update financial databases and records.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Support materials management with inventory control processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Utilize financial software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Respond to inquiries related to accounts payable and other finance-related matters.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Requirements
- Proficiency in general accounting procedures is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of Adobe and Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in finance, accounting, materials management, and healthcare is a plus.
