Summary
- JOB SUMMARY
- The Manager-Pharmacy assists the Director of Pharmacy in the leadership and management of the hospital and retail parmacy operations. Supervises and/or coordinates the functions related to business transactions, clinical services, compliance, safety and customer service. Works collaboratively system-wide with administrative and medical staff as needed. In consultation with the Director of Pharmacy, is responsible for program planning and esures compliance with regulatory, organizational, and professional standards.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy.
Experience: Two (2) years pharmacist experience, one (1) year of which involves pharmacy leadership (such as Pharmacist In-Charge).
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Minnesota license to practice Pharmacy.
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Doctorate in Pharmacy.
Experience: One (1) year previous pharmacy management or supervisory experience. Completion of one (1) year post-graduate (PGY1) ASHP-accredited residency and/or management residency. Preceptor and/or Residency Program Director in an ASHP-accredited residency program.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS).
