The Critical Care RN delivers nursing care for critically ill patients across their life span, and through the nursing process, assesses, plans, implements, and documents the effects of care. Demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of an R.N. Demonstrates competence and current knowledge in critical care nursing across the lifespan. Maintains a working knowledge of Current ICU/CCU technology. Demonstrates ability to care for patients having emergent or high acuity needs. Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information. Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.
