Marlborough
Full-time, Monday through Saturday. Weekday hours will be between 8:30am-6:00 pm. Minimum requirement of two to three Saturdays per month, hours 7:45 am to 12:45 pm; full day off during the week when working Saturdays
St. Mary's Credit Union is currently hiring full-time Member Services Representatives for our Marlborough branch. No prior banking experience required! Come start a new career with us!
The Member Services Representative will provide customer service to our members to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of member service in conformance with established credit union policies and procedures.
Member Services Representative Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a Teller or customer service role preferred
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong technical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Cooperative and teamwork mindset
- Ability to read and follow written procedures
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to other branches as needed

Member Services Representative Job Responsibilities
- Provide members with prompt, efficient, and accurate services in a courteous and professional manner
- Process customer transactions including cashing checks, accepting deposits, and withdrawals, processing loan payments, and money transfers
- Assist members in opening saving and checking accounts, certificates of deposit, IRA’s, bonds, debit cards, wire transfers, etc.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining courteous, respectful, and effective interaction with employees and members
- Provide a superior member experience by actively listening and offering targeted solutions to meet needs; actively cross sell and provide guidance to members
- Meet or exceed assigned sales and service goals
- Process necessary paperwork and enter information utilizing multiple software programs
- Assist members with problems on existing accounts; perform file maintenance
- Adhere to and keep current of compliance standards and procedures
- Interview and complete loan applications for consumer loans; close approved loans
- Keep current knowledge of the various products and services offered by attending product knowledge and related training sessions
- Provide service to our membership communities by actively volunteering time to local civic and charitable organizations
