LOCATION
Crystal City, VA (primarily on-site)
WHO YOU ARE
- Active SECRET (or higher) clearance
- Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or field directly related to the position
- Professional Certification of one of the following: Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM); Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM); Project Management Professional (PMP); or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- 10 years of experience with federal financial management
- 4 years of federal accounting experience
- Operational knowledge on financial accounting programs such as Advana, Dormant Account Review - Quarterly, GFEBS, GFEBS-SA, and GCSS-Army
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on Client requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop program strategy and coordinate with commands to reduce dormant account balance.
- Provide subject matter expertise, advise and recommendations to assist the Client build strong accountability for business processes.
- Use advanced written and grammatical skills to edit all financial policy in accordance with current regulations prior to publishing to commands.
- Train command personnel on requirements for supporting audit to include during in-person professional development, ad hoc workshops, and site visit support
