CSS Warehouse Delivery Radford

Position Summary:

·Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse at all times

·Receive inventory and verify contents to ensure accurate receipt into inventory systems.

·Track all material documentation when received, and use inventory system to ensure material is delivered appropriately and maintain inventory tracking, including barcode maintenance. This will include locating and tracking locations for existing and new materials.

·Responsible for the delivery of customer orders, ensuring that proper signatures are obtained and paperwork is filed correctly

·Monitor inventory levels to recognize changes in usage, communicate and assist in updates to inventory levels based on current customer needs.

·Responsible for escorting customer’s incoming freight to the desired point of delivery.

·Upload orders when scanned regularly to assist in inventory maintenance. Assist in resolution for any issues with orders, shipping issues, and changes or discrepancies in inventory levels. This will include cycle counts of material.

·Confirm shipping paperwork for external material, transfers for internal material as well as make sure that all returns are prepared for shipping and given to carrier in a timely manner.

·Follow site specific safety and environmental regulations, including driving on site. Communicate all customers both internal professionally, responding appropriately in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:

· High School diploma or GED required

· Experience in distribution and/or warehousing preferred

· Reading and writing at an acceptable level

· Good organizational skills with attention to detail

· Basic computer skills

· Knowledge of a hand held barcode scanner

· Able to lift up to 150 lbs.

· Ability and desire to be a team player

· Ability to achieve job functions with minimal supervision

· Ability to understand and react to customer needs with a sense of urgency

· Must have a clean driving record and comfortable driving a box truck

· Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
