Job Summary
The Central Supply Clerk coordinates, organized and oversee all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production and distribution of St. Vincent health company goods. Responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock or materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping materials. Maintaining inventory records including quantities, costs, and types of materials. Keeping detailed records of receipts and the disbursement of the inventory. Preparing reports for the department.
Duties
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Follow performance metrics defined by leadership to measure, evaluate, and compare factors that affect the supply chain
- Maintain required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize service
- Match, organize and audit data as needed
- Order, deliver, and maintain supply levels in hospitals and clinics
- Sort, verify and receive all shipments
- Handle recall/return: paperwork and deliver packages to the post office /mail center
- Run errands for maintenance/RHC/Administration/hospital
- Monitor, manage and order consumable items for re-heating kitchen
- Communicates on the phone and in person with various vendors regarding new and ongoing items.
- Order and deliver supplies to each department.
Experience
- Six months' experience in central supply or medical field Preferred
- Experience in inventory management or supply chain operations is preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or related field is an advantage but not mandatory.

- Expert level skills in the use of Microsoft Excel

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.50 per hour
