What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Lead position at Staffing Network?
Staffing Network is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Leadership experience is a requirement.
- Hours: 7am to 4pm
- Pay: $19.00 hourly
- Monday to Friday
Forklift Lead Responsibility:
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Operate various types of forklifts including order pickers and cherry pickers
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards for safe operation of forklifts
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator Lead.
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on forklifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
