Schedule
- 1st Shift: 8AM - 5:30PM
- Monday - Friday
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate
- $28.38 - $50 / hour
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Equipment Mechanic to efficiently maintain, repair, and inspect heavy equipment and machinery.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment, including diesel heavy trucks and engines, and parts.
- Performs preventive maintenance inspection (PMI); troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds major components on vehicles and equipment. Ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement of components.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
- Assists in the repair and adjustment of equipment
- Washes vehicles and equipment
- Conducts safety checks on vehicles
- Assists with service calls for breakdowns
- Perform other maintenance related work as required
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
- Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
- Must be bilingual - English AND Spanish
- Must have a valid Driver's License, CDL Class A Preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years' experience as class A or B mechanic
- Computer diagnostic experience is required
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices
