Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for our client in Florence, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8AM - 4:30PM
- Monday - Friday
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 - $20 / hour
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for leading the team in the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of total warehouse standards and inventory. The main objective is to lower operating costs through decreased breakage, increased productivity, zero loading errors, and product out-of-stock.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads by example for others.
- Creates and maintains a workplace culture that engages and motivates employees at all levels.
- Focuses on results to deliver success as measured by key performance metrics.
- Follows company policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure the production, storage, and distribution of safe, quality food.
- Informs management of any observations or findings that could impact the safety and quality of company products.
- Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 3-5 years equivalent Warehouse Lead experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience operating standard warehouse forklift equipment.
- Requires flexibility with schedule and working extended hours when needed.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, including handheld scanners.
