What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class B Delivery Driver position at Staffmark Group?
Pay rate: $25.00 Per Hour with $37.50 Per hour
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Operate a Class B Box truck (3-axle) without a liftgate, with 85% of the job involving driving.
- Unload and load construction materials at customer sites, including heavy and bulk pallet products. -
- Transport various items such as power tools, automation controls, personal protective equipment (PPE), fiber cable, and building materials.
- Read and verify all delivery orders to confirm the delivery location and the quantity of products being delivered.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of all (DOT) regulations, including HOS and ELD requirements.
Work experience and skills
- 1 year or more of previous Class B Box truck driving experience within the past 36 months.
- 23 years of age or older
- Valid Medical Certification
- Do not exceed any combination of 2 moving violations and/or accidents in the previous 36 months!
- No record of DUI or Reckless Driving within the past 5 years
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
