Stafford Suites is looking for an Experienced Resident Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Kent location. This is a rare opportunity as it is a newly created position!!

The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible to assist the Wellness Director support the care team and the residents within our community. The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible to ensure that resident assistants are scheduled, trained and ready to provide care in accordance with the Stafford philosophy of care and to ensure that residents receive appropriate assistance and support to their activities of daily living in accordance with our established wellness procedures.

Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) Job Description:

  • Promote the Stafford Philosophy of providing a loving, home-like facility with dignity and respect for the elderly, promoting the highest level of function for each resident and advocating for resident rights.
  • Promote adherence to and follow all policies and procedures of the facility, ensuring that Wellness policies are current and implemented.
  • Record all changes in the resident’s condition in an informative and descriptive manner, using the appropriate forms and given to/ transmitted to the appropriate staff.
  • Cooperate with intra-departmental personnel, as well as other facility personnel to assure that the care giving services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
  • Ensure doctor orders are reviewed and transcribed correctly onto eMar.
  • Assist Wellness Director in overseeing the medication ordering/ receiving process.
  • Assist with medication and caregiving services as needed.
  • Create monthly Resident Assistant schedule and review with Wellness Director for approval.
  • Monitor Resident Assistant files for continuing education compliance.
  • Maintain organized medical charts for residents receiving assisted living services.
  • Able to work weekends and/ or alternate shifts as needed to ensure appropriate coverage and / or meet applicable deadlines.
  • Possess ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with multiple tasks and deadlines in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to be flexible and maintain own schedule with accountability.

Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) Requirements:

  • Current Washington State Nursing Assistant Certified, or Washington State Home Care Aide license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years experience as WA state NAC/ HCA and Med Tech
  • Nurse Delegation and Db Delegation certification, preferred
  • Current CPR/ First Aide certification
  • Current Washington State Food Handlers Permit
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must meet all Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements related to this position
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to read/write in English, and have excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Our Company follows WA Proclamation 21.14.1 which requires all employees working in the Health Care Setting be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless they are exempt for medical and religious reasons, no later than October 18, 2021.

SALARY RANGE- DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE FROM $19.00 TO $21.00 PER HOUR
