Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of insurance products, and the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Communicate effectively with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Negotiate policy terms and conditions with underwriters to secure the best coverage for clients.
- Develop a strong understanding of the carriers we represent and their rating systems
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy changes in the agency management system.
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes in sales environments.
- Maintain an active property and casualty insurance license
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of Applied - TAM Online or EPIC a plus
