Job Summary
The Quality & Business Process Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) within the organization by ensuring all operations adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements, overseeing quality control processes, managing internal and external audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and optimize work quality across all departments. Reporting to the Director of Quality & Business Technologies, this role will be based in the Rockville, MD headquarters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system, ensuring all processes and procedures align with the applicable standards & regulations.

Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, addressing any non-conformities identified.

Monitor compliance with corporate QMS requirements across all departments.

Develop and execute quality control procedures for all products and services, including inspection protocols and testing methods.

Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Investigate and address quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions when necessary.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging employees to identify and implement quality enhancements.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality to measure organizational effectiveness.

Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including procedures, records, and reports.

Train and educate employees on quality standards and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality practices across departments.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, information technology or related field.

5 years of experience in leadership roles, preferably within the energy industry or rapid growth businesses.

Experience with Operations Technology (OT) systems such as SCADA and Industrial Control system (ICS).

High degree of self-motivation and professionalism to deliver results.

Effective communication skills: ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Experience in strategic planning and execution.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Conducts work in both field-type environments and professional office settings with local travel to jobsites to conduct inspections.
Physical working conditions may involve the following:

Extended periods of sitting, walking, standing, reaching, and/or bending.

Extended periods of reading fine print on a computer or in paper-based format.

Qualifications
Salary : $165,000 - $185,000
