Stanley Steemer is a fun, hands-on, team-oriented company. We are looking for a well-rounded, motivated individual for our Operations Supervisor position at our Minneapolis location.
The Operations Supervisor will help assist the General Manager in daily branch operations, including customer service, employee relations, staff scheduling, performance appraisals, and policy compliance. They will need to coordinate activities to enhance productivity and profitability, drive sales and service improvements, and oversee inventory control.
Pay : $55,000 – 65,000 / year, depending on experience
Responsibilities :
Selection, Training and Development of Staff :
- Support the development, direction, and motivation of a high-performing branch team.
- Assist in setting employee goals and fostering skill development through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Supervise the screening and selection process for new hires.
- Oversee the completion of new-hire training for technicians.
Policies and Procedures
Enforce rules and regulations in accordance with the Employee Handbook.Monitor daily work progress to ensure truck performance averages are met for both residential and commercial services.Collaborate with the Manager and / or Office Manager to implement administrative and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with cash control practices.Actively participate in the Safety Team, attend monthly meetings, adhering to safety standards, leading morning meetings, and assisting the Branch Manager in planning safety topics. Ensure safety files are consistently updated.Operations Support
Collaborate with branch management, sales, and field support to drive market growth.Utilize company systems, processes, and best practices; develop and implement new processes as needed.Support the Branch Manager across all areas and manage the branch in their absence, including customer relations, employee direction, and operations.Foster a positive employee relations environment and advise the Branch Manager on daily operations, offering recommendations for improvements.Ensure an adequate workforce for job completion while controlling overtime.Monitor crew efficiency and productivity through weekly visits, addressing issues like high courtesy call rates.Assist with customer settlements and refunds.Use PowerMagic software for job-related tasks and coach others on CSA scripts.Manage inventory, ordering chemicals, supplies, and uniforms as needed.Conduct weekly truck inspections and oversee fleet maintenance and repairs.Why Stanley Steemer?
