Job Summary:
The HR/PR Assistant will provide administrative support to both Human Resources as well as Payroll.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Daily maintaining of employee time records (i.e., vacation and sick leave timesheets) in HRIS system for delivery to PR Dept for processing
· Assists in fielding employee time off inquiries
· Performs customer service functions by addressing candidate/employee queries
· Assists with HR projects: i.e., interviewing, on/off boarding, creating and maintaining files, etc.
· Performs data entry and filing of HR related documents as necessary
· Assists in entering, maintaining, and/or processing information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, wage garnishments and other information as necessary
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Communication Skills: Ability to read and comprehend in English simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Speaks clearly in English.
Math Skills: Able to calculate figures and amounts such as balances due, percentages, averages, etc. Excellent calculator skills.
Physical Demands: Able to sit for prolonged periods. Able to move throughout the building. Lifting up to 25 pounds.
Skills and Abilities: Excellent phone skills. Team player, cross-functional skills working with other internal departments. Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, AS400/Power8, Genesis Pro timeclock system, HRIS system

Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma
· 2 years of human resource, office management and payroll experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
