Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team. This individual is responsible for inspecting, packaging, and shipping completed products for delivery, receives and stores both incoming material and inventory parts, and attends and manages stock room operations. This position requires a strong work ethic and attention to work instructions, and will require use of computers and shop equipment, including operating a forklift.
Duties
1. Checks received products or materials to ensure correct items and quantities match order requirement and are not damaged.
2. Prepares each job for shipment in accordance with a job order or verbal/written instructions to ensure safe and reliable delivery of product or material to proper recipient and destination.
3. Moves finished and received products safely and without damage between stations and shipping area as needed.
4. Assists Operations Manager with the set up and coordination of shipping and freight carriers.
5. Attends to stock room and storage areas to ensure the proper categorization and placement of all stock, inventoried and stored components.
6. Manages shop-consumables inventory, including ordering and storing components as required.
7. Operates shop equipment and machinery in accordance with safety requirements.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent. Prior shipping/receiving and stockroom/inventory or work-related experience helpful.
