What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Dispatcher position at Star Shuttle & Charter?
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide services resulting in the timely and efficient transportation of customers. This would include but not limited to: driver assignments, bus assignments, distribute all drivers' paper work, expense monies, gather all completed paper work from drivers, and enter payroll and necessary information into computer programs. Dispatcher will also need to drive a cdl route if a driver does not show up for their shift.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Schedule and dispatch drivers.
- Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems.
- Prepare daily work and run schedules.
- Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories.
- File and scan all paperwork daily by scheduled time.
- Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules.
- Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.
- Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.
- Advise personnel about traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards.
- Ensure timely and efficient movement of buses according to job orders and schedules.
- Drive Airport Shuttle or School Bus route as needed
Schedule is Sunday through Wednesday from 7pm to 7am
MUST have a Class B with school bus endorsement
