Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable Excavation Laborer to support our excavation projects. This role involves preparing and working on job sites, operating hand tools and small equipment, and assisting the team in creating a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up equipment.
- Operate hand tools and small machinery such as shovels, compactors, and jackhammers.
- Support excavation tasks like trenching, grading, and backfilling.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in excavation or construction is a plus but not required—on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, digging, and standing for long periods.
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Chester and Delaware Counties.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow directions.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
