We’re known for our dedication to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction. As we expand, we are looking to hire an experienced and skilled Block Mason / Mason to join our team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Block Mason / Mason with experience in constructing and repairing structures made of concrete blocks, bricks, and stone. This role involves working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including foundations, retaining walls, patios, and decorative stonework.
Responsibilities:
- Lay, align, and finish concrete blocks, bricks, and stone according to project specifications.
- Mix and apply mortar or concrete to secure materials.
- Build and repair walls, foundations, retaining walls, and other masonry structures.
- Cut and shape blocks or bricks to fit specific designs or spaces using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized job site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Block Mason, Mason, or similar role in construction.
- Strong understanding of masonry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work on scaffolding, and perform tasks requiring stamina.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Chester and Delaware Counties.
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
