What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Delivery Associate position at State Electric Supply Company?

The Warehouse/Delivery Associate will be responsible for:
- Transporting goods.
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck.
- Meeting delivery deadlines.
- Inspecting vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues.
- Loading and unloading cargo.
- Obtaining customer signatures when needed.
- Assisting in the Warehouse as needed and assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license., and in some cases a commercial driver’s license.
- Knowledge of how to handle materials safely, such as chemicals.
- Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo.
