Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within 2 weeks of the closing date.
The purpose of this position Is to investigate and enforce compliance of the insurance coverage
requirements of the New Mexico Workers' Compensation Act for the Farmington Field Office region.
Employers/Business owners, workers, and other bureaus within the agency.
Experience in conducting investigations/interviews.
Knowledge of research methods.
Ability to interpret and apply policies, rules and statutes. Proficient with Microsoft 365.
High School Diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience in investigations, regulation, policy, statutory, and/or contract compliance. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.

Work Is performed in an office setting with exposure to VisualNideo Display Terminal (VDT) and
extensive personal computer, data entry and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, lifting
and reaching may be required. Ability to complete assignments with a high level of accuracy within
strict time constraints. Must be able to lift 25 - 30 lbs. Occasional travel may be required. Some
field investigative work may be required including visiting businesses in person and public
speaking during outreach functions..
