Job Opportunity: Sonographer (Ithaca, NY)

Position: Immediately need an experienced Sonographer for the 3 months of the contract in New York.

Details:

Title: Sonographer

Location: Ithaca

Duration: 13 weeks (Extendable)

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM; and 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM. Rotating Shifts. 12 hours. 3 days a week.

Pay rate: Lucrative pay Benefits Bonus.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent Sonographer experience.
Active ARDMS license.
COVID Vaccinated.
BLS / CPR Preferred.

Duties:

Conduct ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Utilize Aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during the examination process.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and contribute to diagnostic radiology efforts.
Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and any relevant medical history.
Stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques and technologies to enhance imaging quality.
Educate patients about the ultrasound process, answering questions and providing reassurance as needed.

Experience:

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to sonography practices.
Familiarity with diagnostic radiology principles and practices is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member in a fast-paced environment.
