StayOver Management, LLC is Hiring a Guest Services Coordinator Near Clayhole, KY

StayOver Management is a fast growing property management company in the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky. Our 60 inventory includes tiny cabins, cottages, campgrounds and more! The Guest Services Coordinator role serves as the primary contact for StayOver guests. The purpose of the role is to deliver services that assist StayOver in providing excellent customer service, resolving guest issues, placing reservations, etc. If you are an outdoor lover who would like to help others experience the beauty of Red River Gorge, this position would be perfect for you!

OFFICE HOURS - 9AM - 6PM YOUR SHIFT: 1PM - 6PM FRIDAY - MONDAY

*PLEASE READ* We are looking for applicants who live in Kentucky, however applicants outside of Kentucky may be considered. This position is remote and most of our staff works from home daily, however in order to be knowledgeable about the area and our inventory you must visit Red River Gorge a minimum of 4 times a year. We will provide accommodations and reimburse mileage for your trips.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of StayOver properties and area attractions
  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and act as a Concierge
  • Act as ‘sales’ representative to our guests. Combining your detailed knowledge of our properties and area attractions with confidence to ‘close the deal’ and get a guest booked into a property that fits their needs
  • Work closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance staff to ensure all expectations are met. Placing work orders for maintenance, addressing guests concerns with housekeeping, etc.
  • Act as the contact for guests through multiple booking channels, including StayOver website, email, and telephone.
  • Resolve guest issues and address/mitigate concerns as they arise
  • Answer all incoming calls, emails, messages, and texts and direct to the appropriate department, if necessary
  • Contact guests prior to their stay following the pre-arrival process, ensuring all requirements contracts and documents have been received and signed
  • Be an example of StayOver’s core beliefs in the activities that you perform
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with employees, guests, owners, management, and outside vendors

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed
  • After-hours assistance with urgent requests, as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years relevant experience working in call center/virtual customer service experience
  • 1-3 years experience working in hospitality
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to guests
  • Strong understanding of basic technology skills (Some examples: MS Office, email, web navigation, file management, video conferencing, etc)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standing, sitting, walking, bending as needed
  • Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction
  • Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 20 lbs
  • Required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, telephones, headsets
