Overview

We currently have an opening for an ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER at our Torrance, California location. In this full-time; swing shift, hourly position, you will be part of a production team responsible for building our Microwave Power Module products in accordance with engineering drawings and detailed assembly instructions. After an initial training period on first shift, you will be assigned to a second shift position and be eligible for shift differential premium pay at that time.

Responsibilities

You can expect to prepare components by cleaning, wire bonding, sealing, and marking, load components (such as resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets) on printed circuit boards, and perform interconnecting and harnessing wiring operations as well as thru-hole and surface mount soldering of components. In addition, you will install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets, assembling and attaching hardware such as caps, clamps, and switches.

Qualifications

• 2 years of electronic assembly experience
• Must be certified (or able to be certified) to J-STD 001 solder standards.

Additional Skills:

• Must be able to properly identify all electronic and mechanical components.
• Requires basic math skills and knowledge of measuring devices.
• Good manual dexterity is necessary.
• Requires the ability to use soldering irons, hot plates, UV curve systems, RTV dispensing, and strip wire tools.
• The ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and written instructions
