Electrical Helper

Overview

Stellar is seeking a Helper to be responsible for assisting in day-to-day electrical installations, clean up, and electrical material management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with keeping journeymen stocked with materials, tools, and consumables as needed
• Maintain clean work environment and roof protection
• Follow established job-site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area
• Fire watch and spotter as needed
• Understand verbal and written communication and follow general job site safety rules

Travel100% travel opportunities for this position available after project completion.  Locations vary throughout the United States.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• Experience: None required
• Communication Skills – Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  The ability to understand information, ideas, direction and then be able to perform the task or project discussed. Also, to be able to ask questions to insure you understand the information given
• Must be able to operate mechanically powered lifting equipment for both personnel and materials as trained
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred

• Ability to work at differing heights – typically over 5 feet above the ground

• Flexibility to work hours required to maintain project schedule based on the scope of work which at times may include working long hours or weekend
