Overview
Stellar has an immediate opening for a Plumbing Superintendent with a Master Plumbers license for a food processing facility project in Perry, Georgia.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Superintendent, the Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising multiple work crews and all assigned employees on those teams
- Ensuring all work is well-planned, supplied and executed safely and efficiently
- Creating daily reports, tracking progress, time submission, and other administrative duties as required to accurately track performance and progress
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Georgia Master Plumber license
- 10 years of experience, including 5 years as a Supervisor
- Food Processing Plant experience is a major plus
- Experience with UG DWV systems and competent skills in Trenching and Shoring
- Deep and shallow UG pipe installations
- Rough in and top out experience
- OSHA 30
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to interpret drawings and lay out field piping
- Lead and manage the work of multiple work crews
- Experience with Leica equipment preferred
- Ability to shoot grade and determine depth and slopes of installed systems
- Strong math skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- ADA requirements for clearances, heights, etc.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
