The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the entire receiving operation. This includes the aspects of receiving schedule, offsite-receiving activities, entering receipts into systems both internal and external to the company. This job function needs to have a thorough understanding of receiving controls and inventory systems and past experience within MRP/Receiving environment.
- Previous Experience with Receiving
- MRP system, inventory control system experience
- Willingness to take on new projects and support organization initiatives.
- Knowledge of Receiving including arranging delivery appointments, delivery locations,
- Assist in Management of inventory levels through strong communication
- Refine Raw Material Tagging Process through interaction with Information Technology.
- Enter Receipts into Protean
- Maintain organized receipt record keeping system
- Verify Bill of Materials with respect to how it compares to physical receipts.
