Responsibilities
- Execute remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine project specifications.
- Perform construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material costs.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed for various tasks.
- Lay tile and perform other flooring installations with precision.
- Manage construction processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Fabricate custom components as required for specific remodeling projects.
- Frame carpentry work, including walls, roofs, and other structural elements.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in remodeling or related construction fields is essential.
- Strong skills in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and heavy equipment operation are preferred.
- Proficiency in tile laying, framing carpentry, plumbing, building, and fabrication techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
