Position:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and other executives to guide the company's financial strategy while ensuring financial compliance and stability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop financial strategies and plans to support the company's growth and profitability goals

• Oversee all accounting, audit, budgeting, tax, and treasury functions

• Manage the company's cash flow, financing activities, and financial risk management

• Analyze financial data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities

• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to executive leadership

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards

• Establish and maintain internal control policies, procedures, and accounting systems

• Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance teams

• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, analysts, and other key stakeholders

• Support the CEO in strategic decision-making related to mergers, acquisitions, and other business opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree preferred)

• 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the transportation/logistics industry

• CPA with audit experience is highly desirable

• Expertise in financial planning, reporting, auditing, and risk management best practices

• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics tools

• Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP), tax laws, and financial regulations
