Stinchcomb Associates is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to merchandise live plant displays at Home Depot. As a merchandising services company, we support live goods growers by ensuring their products are beautifully presented and well-maintained. While you will be working inside Home Depot stores, you will be employed by Stinchcomb Associates.
About the Role
As a merchandiser, your primary responsibility is to create an appealing and organized garden center by maintaining live seasonal plants, following plan-o-grams, and upholding signage and aesthetic standards.
We offer part-time, full-time, and seasonal opportunities. Current openings are for seasonal positions, with the potential for year-round employment and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Merchandise and maintain plant displays according to company and store standards
- Ensure displays are safely constructed and properly placed
- Set up, restock, and refresh displays as shipments arrive
- Care for plants by watering, pruning, and maintaining signage
- Assist customers with questions and provide excellent service
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, store management, and other service teams
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications
- Experience in merchandising, retail, horticulture, or landscaping is preferred but no required
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. consistently throughout the day
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
