Brief Job Overview/Summary
The Temporary Employment Service (TES) positions at Stockton University are a highly recognized internal resource with a passion for providing excellent customer service and value to a dynamic campus population. We partner with the campus community to provide temporary positions hired to assist university departments with immediate and short-term assignments. Some assignments may serve as a gateway into permanent positions with the university. Hiring is based upon a need for additional staff at various times of the year. Stockton University will accept applications from qualified applicants on a continual basis.
Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
These assignments can include but are not limited to; clerical, technical, para-professional, skilled craft and service/maintenance occupational categories.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's
- Prior administrative/office support experience
- One (1) year experience
- Prior experience in a university environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Highly dependable and responsive to tasks-at-hand
- Exhibit outstanding organizational and time management abilities
- Have a high degree of accuracy and detail oriented
- Sensitive to the need for confidentiality
- Multi task effectively and are flexible to the needs of a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
