Stockwell Engineers, a leading full-service engineering, landscape architecture, and land surveying firm, is actively seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team in Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in utilizing CAD to prepare drawings and other technical documents including alignments, and corridors.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will provide crucial support to engineer and survey staff in the preparation of:
– Concept/Preliminary plans.
– Plan and profile: street, sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer.
– Erosion control plans.
– Grading plans.
– Site plans.
– Cross sections.
– Details.
– Topographic surveys.
– Boundary surveys.
– Plats.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
– Associates or technical degree in civil engineering technology or equivalent.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
– Ability to excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Strong work ethic.
– Enthusiastic attitude.
– Proficiency in Microstation is a plus.
