Your Part in This Growth Story:
Stonebranch is searching for a Director of Professional Services to lead our Americas Professional Services team. Based in Alpharetta, GA, this position is critical in ensuring the success of Stonebranch’s delivery organization while driving the seamless implementation of our software through our established methodology in projects across the region. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with extensive project management experience and a track record of managing highly complex software implementations.
This is a hybrid position – 3 days/week onsite, 2 days/week remote – and based out of our Alpharetta, GA office. Candidates outside of the Metro Atlanta area will be considered, however, relocation to the Atlanta area will be required. This position will report to the Chief Delivery Officer.
Your Impact on the Organization:
- Leadership & Resource Planning: Lead the Americas Professional Services team, ensuring optimal staffing and hiring aligned with global project delivery obligations.
- Project Delivery: Oversee all regional project implementations, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery. Act as a Project Sponsor to resolve escalations and manage cross-functional discussions.
- Sales & Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare estimates, write, review and negotiate Statements of Work (SOWs) with future customers, and present our delivery methodology to prospects.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, manage approvals for milestones and change controls, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Develop financial forecasts for resource allocation, ensure alignment with the sales pipeline, and support strategic structuring of project teams.
- Process Oversight & Continuous Improvement: Supervise the PMO and project managers, ensuring adherence to or enhancements in our delivery methodology as needed.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
Education:
- Degree in a STEM field required, Master’s or MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of leadership experience managing large, geographically distribute teams.
- Extensive experience delivering software implementation projects in complex environments.
- In-depth project management expertise with a proven track record in medium-to-large projects.
- Familiarity with commercial arrangements typical in the software industry.
Technical Acumen:
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and technologies, including RDBMS, cloud, and networking (preferred).
Skills:
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Superior customer service attitude with professional engagement capabilities.
- Ability to multitask and address simultaneous issues across projects.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
