Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their bakery selections. You will play a key role in maintaining the bakery's presentation and ensuring that all products meet our quality standards. You will bag breads and buns, frost and fry donuts, and perform other duties required in the bakery. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting bakery items.
- Upsell additional products to enhance customer purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery display area.
- Prepare and package baked goods as needed.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product freshness.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding ingredients and dietary options.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in a bakery or quick service fast food restaurant setting.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours.
- A background in culinary arts or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help customers are essential for success in this role.
