Position: Security Officer (Full-time)
Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and talented Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong security skill set and be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while on Stones Gambling Hall properties.
AVAILABLE SHIFT TIMES:
- Shift 2 (2:00pm - 10:30pm)
* Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Days off are determined by seniority, staffing levels, and business needs.
Responsibilities
-Provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
-Check Identifications and bags of guests upon entry.
-Prevent entry of prohibited items or persons
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
-Report and document suspicious or criminal activity
-Work with a team in a positive, professional, and productive manner
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Investigate alarms or disturbances and act accordingly
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call for assistance from police or fire departments in case of emergency
- Escort individuals off the premises when necessary
-Perform gaming floor tasks assigned to the security department.
Requirements
-Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
-Must have a current and valid CA Guard Card
-*Must have a_ minimum of 24 hours of CA Guard Training and be able to provide certificates of training received.*_
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Must be able to obtain a work permit from City of Citrus Heights
-Must be able to work in inclement and/or hot weather
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
-Ability to stand or be on feet for long periods of time
-Proven experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- CCTV experience is a plus
-Computer knowledge (Basic Use, Word, and Excel)
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
-Bilingual is a Plus
-CA Cardroom or Casino Experience is a plus
-Customer service experience
-Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
-Ability to create detail oriented security incident reports.
